| <div style="width:48%;float:center;"> | Final Fantasy Tactics (ファイナルファンタジータクティクス, Fainaru Fantajī Takutikusu) est un jeu de rôle tactique publié par Squaresoft sur Playstation, première du nom. Sa première édition n'était en vente qu'au Japon et aux Etats-Unis, respectivement en 2007 puis 2008. Le jeu combine pour la première fois l'ensemble des éléments caractéristiques de l'univers Final Fantasy, avec ceux qui caractérises les systèmes des RPG tactiques (gestion poussée d'une armée, déplacement case par case sur des plateaux, tour par tour...). Contrairement aux Final Fantasy sortis à la même période, Final Fantasy Tactics utilise une aire de jeu en 3D avec des sprites 2D. Les européens ont officiellement pu jouer à ce jeu via une réédition sur PSP, en 2009, incluant de nombreux bonus, dont des modes multijoueurs en 1 contre 1 et en coopératif. |

| padding-left:5px;padding-right:4px;"> | Le jeu se déroule dans le royaume d'Ivalice, univers qui sera repris plusieurs années plus tard dans la compilation [[:ivalicealliance|Ivallice Alliance]] et même dans un des principaux épisode de la série Final Fantasy : [[:ff12|Final Fantasy XII]]. L'histoire raconte la tragique histoire d'un jeune noble, Ramza Beoulve qui sans le vouloir se retrouve au coeur de machinations politiques visant à provoquer une guerre entre deux puissants Lord du royaume. Au fur et à mesure du scénario, cette machination impliquera également l'Eglise et des forces bien plus sombres... Le scénario de Final Fantasy Tactics, contrairement à ce que pourrait laisser présager l'apparence enfantine des personnages, est un des plus sombre et des plus adulte de la saga Final Fantasy : trahisons, meurtres, racisme, nettoyage éthnique, viols, paricides, fratricides... de terribles actes humains sont abordés. |
